Allen Evans is a highly experienced fencing coach, administrator, and leader in the U.S. fencing community. He has been active in the sport since the 1970s as a competitor, coach, referee, and organizer, earning advanced coaching credentials including Prévôt d’Armes through the U.S. Fencing Coaches Association and Level 4 certifications in foil and épée, as well as Level 3 in saber from the USA Fencing Coaches College — where he was frequently recognized as a top student.

Allen currently serves as Chair of the USA Fencing Coaching Committee, where he provides strategic guidance and support to coaches across the country. He also contributes to the broader fencing community as a consulting coach for clubs nationwide and as the editor/author of numerous instructional articles on the Coaches Compendium website — a widely used resource for fencing coaches. In competition, he continues to fence nationally as a veteran épéeist.
